The material for this unit extends the students beyond the preceding level of the unit ITAL3309 Italian Advanced V. The language component focuses on the varieties of Italian used by the print and spoken media, while the cultural component covers social and linguistic aspects of modern Italy selected from a variety of texts and literary genres. The unit completes the sequence of language units in Italian. |

Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit except in the case of a bachelor's pass degree student who has obtained a mark of 45 to 49 and is currently enrolled in this unit, and it is the only remaining unit that the student must pass in order to complete their course. |
