ITAL3306 Italian Advanced II [UG]

Outcomes Students are able to read and write Italian with accuracy and fluency; converse in Italian with fluency and accuracy on contemporary themes; read contemporary literature with understanding, and relate literary works to their social and historical context; and demonstrate intercultural understanding.
Content This unit follows on from ITAL3305 Italian Advanced I. Students further develop proficiency in spoken and written Italian and extend their understanding of Italian society and culture. The unit leads to ITAL3307 Italian Advanced III.
Assessment Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit except in the case of a bachelor's pass degree student who has obtained a mark of 45 to 49 and is currently enrolled in this unit, and it is the only remaining unit that the student must pass in order to complete their course.
