| Content |
This unit continues to familiarise students with aspects of German language and culture. It consists of four hours of language classes per week and provides students with the opportunity to develop their spoken and written language skills in everyday situations. The unit is based on a textbook. The textbook is used in the classroom, while the accompanying CD allows students to practice what they have learned in class in their own time and helps students with German phonetics. Students work on more complex grammar topics and further their understanding of German culture and society through authentic texts and audiovisual materials. The unit leads to GRMN2203 German Intermediate I. |
| Assessment |
Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit except in the case of a bachelor's pass degree student who has obtained a mark of 45 to 49 and is currently enrolled in this unit, and it is the only remaining unit that the student must pass in order to complete their course. |
