This unit is a sequel to GREE1152 Beginners' Greek II. The same textbook is used but the extracts from ancient authors become gradually less simplified. These have been selected in such a way that they provide glimpses into ancient Greek culture and society, as well as give practice in the language. |
| Assessment |
This comprises in-class tests (50 per cent) and a two-hour examination (50 per cent).
Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit except in the case of a bachelor's pass degree student who has obtained a mark of 45 to 49 and is currently enrolled in this unit, and it is the only remaining unit that the student must pass in order to complete their course. |
