Outcomes Students are able to design assessment tasks and marking keys that provide valuable information about developmental continua; evaluate assessment results; and use assessment data to plan for future teaching and to refine assessment processes.
Content Students study educational assessment and measurement strategies; examine a range of assessment processes; devise and evaluate assessments; examine issues in assessment including consistency of judgement, monitoring growth and reporting student achievement; and evaluate assessment results and plan for future teaching.
Assessment This comprises a 2000-word assignment and a two-hour final examination.

Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit.
