EDUC8514 Dealing with Difference and Difficulty [PG]

Outcomes Students are able to collate and evaluate assessment data to identify the learning, needs, interests and talents of the students; use a range of strategies to support the learning of gifted students or students with learning difficulties; demonstrate high standards of professional behaviour; and complete a case study report.
Content Students examine strategies for identifying individual student needs; plan and sequence teaching and learning strategies for students with particular learning needs; implement a tutoring program for an individual student; analyse and evaluate student learning; and analyse and evaluate their tutoring program.
Assessment This comprises a 4000-word case study report.

Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit.
