| Content |
This unit explores the history of Britain from the expeditions of Caesar onwards with primary focus on the early period where both documentary and archaeological evidence are available. Themes include the military and civic history of the province. |
| Assessment |
This comprises tutorial performance (20 per cent), in-class 10-minute geography test (5 per cent), sources test 1 (10 per cent), sources test 2 (20 per cent) and a major essay (45 per cent).
Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit except in the case of a bachelor's pass degree student who has obtained a mark of 45 to 49 and is currently enrolled in this unit, and it is the only remaining unit that the student must pass in order to complete their course. |
